Being 4-legged is so overrated…

For a dog who runs away from the tumbling waves and doesn’t like to get a bath, she sure is OK with puddle hopping! This is the second time I have caught her in the act (see previous post rock climbing and puddle hopping)!!!  For those of you who don’t know what puddle hopping is, I will let Chloe show you:

Did I mention that she went back in again?!?!  And she convinced someone else to join in the puddle hopping fun!

I suppose I shouldn’t be shocked.  I mean if I’ve learned anything after having a tripawd for 3 months now, it is that they surprise you when you least expect it.  Maybe she will turn into a water dog…who knows?

Chloe looks like she had great fun! And that puddle would be considered a lake in Alberta 🙂

And yes indeed. They surprise us constantly.

Maggie would refuse to walk through puddles on the path leading to the creek- then get into the creek up to her chin!
I guess it has to be just the right water.

I agree, it has to be the “right” water. She has no problems “biting” the water from the hose, nor does she have a problem wandering outside when it is raining. Who knows what she is thinking…

Chloe is looking amazing! Way to puddle-hop! I think Holly might even like to join her in that – she wasn’t a big fan of swimming until Zuzu taught her this summer, but puddles like Chloe has found would be just her speed!

I think Chloe is fast becoming a water dog or should we say puddle dog. Baby steps….but just watch out…before you know it she’ll be in the surf riding those waves. Hang 10 Chloe!!
